Itinerary

Arrival Day

Typically, visitors reach Pemenang port by way of Bali or the Gili Islands, while some may choose to arrive through Lombok airport. Regardless of your entry point, we provide transportation to our homestay in Senaru as part of our package. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed at our homestay, where a delightful dinner awaits you. Enjoy breathtaking views from our outdoor dining area and observe playful monkeys just below. Additionally, you have the option to take a leisurely 20-minute stroll to Tiu Kelep waterfall, conveniently accessible from the trail located right in front of our homestay

Day 1 Trekking

You will wake up early to enjoy breakfast, then after that the journey will start by driving for about 30-40 minutes to the national park entrance. We will start this trekking activity from the Sembalun entrance at an altitude of 1156 meters above sea level.

• Starting from the entrance, a trek of approximately 2 hours awaits, covering a distance of 3.7 km and ascending an additional height of 44 meters to reach post 1.
• Take a short break at post 1 for snacks
• Subsequently, the journey from the initial post to the second post spans roughly 1 hour, covering a distance of 1.4 km and ascending an elevation of 200 meters.
• The porter will serve you lunch at post 2
• Following lunch, our expedition will persist towards post 3, encompassing a distance of 1.7 km in approximately 1 hour, ascending an elevation of 300 meters from post 2.
• Take a brief break at post 3 before resuming the trek for approximately 3.5 hours towards Pelawangan Sembalun, the designated camping area. Covering a distance of 2.2 km, this segment constitutes the most challenging stretch on the first day due to an elevation gain of 839 meters.

The total walking on the first day from the entrance to the campsite is around 7-8 hours, with a distance of 9 km and an elevation gain of 1483 meters (1156 to 2639 masl)

Day 2 Trekking

On the second day we will wake up very early at around 2.30 am so we can get the sunrise at the top of Mount Rinjani.

• Trekking to the peak starts at around 3 am after a light breakfast.
• The journey from the campsite to the summit spans 3.8 km, requiring approximately 3 hours of walking and ascending an elevation of 1087 meters.
• Arriving at the peak at around 6 am at sunrise, we will take photos and enjoy the view for approximately 30 minutes until we descend back to the campsite.
• upon arrival at the campsite, the porter will prepare a second breakfast before descending to the Lake.
• Walk down to Segara Anak Lake and Hot Spring water for 3 hours
• Lunch will be provided by the Lake Segara Anak, hot spring water just a walk 100m from Lake
• Camping at Segara Anak Lake, Enjoy the Lake and surroundings.
• Dinner and sleep at Segara Anak

Day 3 Trekking

• Enjoy breakfast at Segara Anak.
• Spend more time enjoying Lake and hot spring water
• After lunch, we will prepare to climb up to the crater Rim of Senaru by 3 hour’s walk.
• Need to be careful due to the trail quiet top and step up
• Enjoy the incredible sunset over Mount Agung in Bali and the smoke trough out from the hole of the new volcano.
• Camping at crater Rim of Senaru with enjoy your dinner here.

Day 4 Trekking

• After breakfast and enjoying the sunrise prepare to walk down to Senaru village
• Lunch will prepare on the way between POS 2 or POS EXTRA.
• Arrive at Senaru Rinjani Trekking Centre around 13.00 PM.
• Prepare yourself at our camp for another transfer to Senggigi, Mataram, or Bangsal harbor if you wish to come to Gili island.
